PHLEGM v8 Revision r92 - GUI compile and binary MONO+CHAR highlighting
===================================================================

Source: PHLEGM v8 r91, verified against Compiler Logs 2026-1011-1740-3100.

Compiler failure (all four Windows 32/64 OpenGL/D3D11 builds):
  src/lib/gui.bas lines 24, 26, 28, 30 contained U+0002 bytes after
the shade expression, triggering FreeBASIC error 3: Expected End-of-Line.
Removed all twelve invalid bytes, preserving the shade / tint algorithm.
No other compiler errors were present before this early-stage failure.

MONO + CHAR selections now use only binary foreground/background pixels:
Windows TREE: draw black, 1-bit SRCAND CHR onto solid white, invert the
completed cell for selection (white pixels on black). Focus is native XOR.
Windows ICON: selected outline is solid black, never the Windows blue tint.
Linux TREE: draw black CHR bits on white; selected pixbuf uses opaque white
CHR bits on black via scoped GTK CSS. Refresh only the new/old selection
pixbuf on tree navigation; color/typeface changes refresh the full tree.
Linux ICON: preserve black 1-bit CHOP icons and draw a pure-black selected
2px outline on white (no blue native selection gradient).
ARGB modes retain colored CHR tinting and existing color highlights.
No changes to CHR font source, CHOP canonical ARGB frames, or ROMs.

Added regression tests tests/GUI-Mono-CHR-Highlight-and-Compile.Tests.ps1
and updated the prior ARGB and CHR tree tests for the selected-MONO branch.

Validation: full ZIP integrity and source/newline/control-byte checks performed.
Native Windows FreeBASIC compilation, Linux compile and visual testing require
local target toolchains; test results from this run are NOT claimed.
